Basketball Recap: West Harrison Sets Scoring Season-High Against Long Beach

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Harrison). They blew past the Long Beach Bearcats 77-44 on Tuesday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hurricanes had established a 31 point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Harrison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Robinson, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JaMarcus McCalebb, who posted six points in addition to five assists and five steals.

The victory made it two in a row for West Harrison and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Long Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

West Harrison has already played their next game, a 44-39 win against Petal on the 13th. As for Long Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 44-42 victory against Picayune on the 13th.
