Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the First Assembly Christian Lions, falling 48-24. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

First Assembly Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kate McVey led the charge by going 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points and six steals. McVey continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Claire Brown was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for First Assembly Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will face off against Pineview Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Assembly Christian, they will take on Glen Iris Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. First Assembly Christian's defense has only allowed 29.3 points per game this season, so Glen Iris Baptist's offense will have their work cut out for them.
