Basketball Recap: Henderson Collegiate Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Henderson Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 49-31 fall against the Vance County Vipers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pride of the 42-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Vance County found their leader in freshman Ke'Andre Cooper, who made all 8 shots he took racking up 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for Cooper. Quiheem Glover was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Henderson Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Vance County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Henderson Collegiate will head out to challenge River Mill at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Vance County, they will face off against South Granville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
