Volleyball Recap: Rapid River Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rapid River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Carney-Nadeau Wolves. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Rapid River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Carney-Nadeau, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Looking ahead, Rapid River will challenge Munising at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carney-Nadeau, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Superior Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
