Football Recap: Macomb Beats Illini West for Their Third Straight Victory

Macomb put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Illini West Chargers as they made off with a 27-6 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bombers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Macomb didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Drew Watson led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Carter Havens got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Macomb's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Illini West, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
