Beverly is a perfect 6-0 against Salem since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will square off against the Witches at 4:00 p.m. Beverly's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Beverly fell victim to Masconomet Regional and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chieftains, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Salem made sure to put some goals up on the board against Lowell Catholic on Friday. They blew past the Crusaders 7-0. Salem might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Salem, bringing their record up to 7-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Beverly, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Beverly took their win against Salem in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
