Softball Recap: Kerman Plays to a Tie

Kerman saw some tournament action on Saturday. They and the Highland Scots finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Roxy Alvarez spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Kerman's draw makes their record 3-2-1 this season. Meanwhile, Highland's record is now 2-1-1.

Looking ahead, Kerman will take on Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clovis East at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Scots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
