Volleyball Recap: Hauppauge Beats West Islip for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Hauppauge had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the West Islip Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0).

Hauppauge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 30-28.

Khloe Collins paced Hauppauge's offense, picking up nine kills. Collins got some help from Lindsay Adams and her 19 assists. Keira Mckechnie controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hauppauge's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for West Islip, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Hauppauge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Smithtown West on the 17th. West Islip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
