Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Keene Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-2 loss back in March.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Keene, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Madison is set to challenge their familiar foe Village Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Keene will face off against rival Trinity Leadership at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
