York won the last time they faced Willowbrook, and Carson Cruver did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dukes came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Cruver, who had 14 assists and four digs. He has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last six times he's played.

York easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14.

York has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Willowbrook, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, York will be taking part in a tournament against St. Rita at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Willowbrook, they will square off against Tournament Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
