Malone is 0-10 against Chipley since April of 2021 but things could change  on Thursday. Malone will take on Chipley at 6:00  p.m. Malone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9  runs per game  this season.
On Tuesday, Malone didn't have quite enough to beat Sneads and fell  4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Indya Barnes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole five bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  A Wesley, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Chipley suffered their biggest  defeat since March 14, 2024 on Monday. They lost  9-3 to Abbeville Christian Academy.
  Olivia Brown was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kenzlee Nelson, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Chipley's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-5. As for Malone, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Thursday's   contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Malone has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .603. However, it's not like Chipley struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Malone suffered a grim  27-1 defeat to Chipley  when the teams last played  back in March. Can Malone avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
