Baseball Recap: Maxwell Takes a Loss

Maxwell fell victim to St. Paul/Palmer and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to St. Paul/Palmer, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for Maxwell in their meetings with St. Paul/Palmer: they've now lost five in a row.

Maxwell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kole Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Paul/Palmer, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Maxwell Wildcats face off against Sedgwick County Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul/Palmer, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Lincoln Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
