Softball Recap: Loyola College Prep Flyers vs. Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenbrook, Loyola College Prep was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Lions by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Flyers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Larkin Krieg made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Krieg was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Loyola College Prep got a massive performance out of Presley Walker, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jillian Drouillard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Loyola College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Booker T. Washington-Shreveport, they moved to 4-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
