Volleyball Recap: Celina Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Celina was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gainesville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the Aubrey Chaparrals on Friday, falling 3-0. The Bobcats have struggled against the Chaparrals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Celina was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

McKynna Stephens paced Celina's offense, picking up eight kills. Stephens got some help from Alex Farrow and her 15 assists. Finally, Shaylee Stevens kept Celina's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Celina's loss dropped their record down to 18-24. As for Aubrey, the win (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 41-2.

As of now, neither Celina nor the Chaparrals have any future games scheduled.
