Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

University lost against Faith Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While University was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Faith Christian's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-21.

Aurelia Jones paced University's offense, picking up nine kills. Jones got some help from Mariana Perez and her 15 assists. Gabriella Ramirez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Faith Christian, they moved to 12-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Coming up, University will square off against Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Christian, they will face off against Lake Mary Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
