Softball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Takes a Loss

Grosse Pointe North managed to slip by Anchor Bay the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Norsemen lost 10-3 to the Tars on Thursday. The Norsemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tars earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Grosse Pointe North has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Anchor Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Looking ahead, Grosse Pointe North is taking a road trip to take on Romeo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Norsemen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Anchor Bay, they will take on Allen Park at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
