Baseball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Prouty Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 back in April.

North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Graves, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North's record is now 1-14. As for Prouty, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-10 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. North will take on St. Bernard's Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Prouty, they will face off against Blackstone-Millville at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chargers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
