Soccer Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss

Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Escambia Gators, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Gators are ranked 211th).

Pine Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Escambia, they pushed their record up to 11-3-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Pine Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escambia, they will face off against Destin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Escambia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.2 goals per game this season.
