Basketball Recap: Gresham Community Takes a Loss

Gresham Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wausaukee Rangers. The Wildcats lost against the Rangers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-39 score last time.

Gresham Community's record now sits at 4-13. As for Wausaukee, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wausaukee, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 70-57 defeat against Goodman-Pembine on the 10th.
