Basketball Game Preview: El Toro Chargers vs. Capistrano Valley Cougars

The El Toro Chargers will head out to face off against the Capistrano Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

El Toro will head out to face Capistrano Valley after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. El Toro fell 48-40 to Beckman.

Meanwhile, Capistrano Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 54-50 to Christian.

Capistrano Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for El Toro, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-10.

El Toro couldn't quite finish off Capistrano Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2020 and fell 58-55. Can El Toro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
