Basketball Recap: Chesterfield Piles Up the Points Against Buford

Chesterfield won the last time they faced Buford and things went their way on Friday too. The Chesterfield Golden Rams blew past the Buford Yellow Jackets, posting a 53-17 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Rams.

Leading Chesterfield to victory were Reagan Rivers and Terrahjah Robinson. Rivers almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, while Robinson posted 19 points and six boards. With that strong performance, Rivers is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Temia Chapman, who scored ten points and three steals.

Chesterfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game.
