Soccer Recap: Wesson Starts Season with Victory Against Mendenhall

Wesson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Mendenhall Tigers. With Wesson ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Melvin Hernadez and Santana Silven scored all five of Wesson's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Wesson will head out on the road to square off against Loyd Star at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mendenhall, they will venture away from home to take on McLaurin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
