Paint Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 74-65 to the Western Indians. The Bearcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Despite the loss, Paint Valley still got an impressive performance from Carson M Free, who went 10-for-18 on his way to 29 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance gave M Free a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Jase Rinehart, who posted nine points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

M Free wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Paint Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Paint Valley's record now sits at 6-11. As for Western, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Paint Valley has already played their next contest, a 47-39 defeat against Southeastern on the 7th. As for Western, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-51 loss against Oak Hill on the 5th.
