Basketball Game Preview: Upper Scioto Valley Rams vs. Arcadia Redskins

Upper Scioto Valley is 4-0 against Arcadia since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Upper Scioto Valley Rams will be playing at home against the Arcadia Redskins at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 84-44, which was the final score in Upper Scioto Valley's tilt against Coldwater on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 166th).

Meanwhile, Arcadia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-27 heartbreaker at the hands of Hopewell-Loudon.

Upper Scioto Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Upper Scioto Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Arcadia in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win.
