Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denby). They were the clear victors by a 24-11 margin over the Harper Woods Pioneers on Thursday. The Tars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Denby pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Harper Woods, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denby will face off against Renaissance at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harper Woods, they will challenge Avondale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
