While Higley couldn't topple Legend on Saturday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Alan Macias. Macias wasn't messing around, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with one or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Higley's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Wellington at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sadly, Macias' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Higley's four-game streak of wins at home.
