Football Game Preview: Leetonia Bears vs. United Golden Eagles

Leetonia is 1-7 against United since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bears will host the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Leetonia has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Leetonia's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Columbiana on Friday. They took a blow against the Clippers, falling 35-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, United made easy work of David Anderson on Friday and carried off a 34-14 win. Considering the Golden Eagles have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

United pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.5 points over those games. As for Leetonia, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
