Basketball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Lions vs. Bulloch Academy Gators

St. Andrew hasn't had much luck against Bulloch Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The St. Andrew's Lions will head out on the road to take on the Bulloch Academy Gators at 6:00 p.m.

St. Andrew's lost 52-32 to Hilton Head Prep on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 428th in Georgia, while the Dolphins are ranked 121st in South Carolina).

Meanwhile, Bulloch Academy earned a 37-24 win over Claxton on Saturday.

Bulloch Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for St. Andrew's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

St. Andrew's was dealt a bruising 48-15 loss at the hands of Bulloch Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Thankfully for St. Andrew's, Ashantay Noble (who went 8 for 13 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven steals and five boards) won't be suiting up this time.
