Volleyball Recap: Providence Falls Short of East Mecklenburg in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Providence can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the East Mecklenburg Eagles on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 23-25, 25-15.

Providence has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for East Mecklenburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Providence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Mecklenburg, they will square off against Northwest Guilford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
