Volleyball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Ferndale was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Fork last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the St. Bernard's Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Ferndale's offense was headlined by Danica Dowd and Abby Gossi, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Dalia Cantu-Mendez and her six assists. Finally, Gossi was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for St. Bernard's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.
