Football Recap: Marco Zepeda and Jaret Bridwell Pace Red Bluff Defense + How To Watch

Red Bluff and Chico squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Red Bluff had to settle for second. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Spartans were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but the Panthers' defense proved too tough.

Red Bluff didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Marco Zepeda and Jaret Bridwell.

The loss snapped Red Bluff's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-3 record. As for Chico, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
