Basketball Recap: Gans Comes Up Short

Gans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Cave Springs Hornets, falling 54-22. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Gans' record now sits at 0-5. As for Cave Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gans won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cave Springs, they and Watts will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
