Soccer Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity lost to Madisonville back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 764th, while Madisonville are ranked 302nd).

Trinity is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5-1. As for Madisonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Trinity and Madisonville will both be playing Crockett the next time they take the pitch. The Mustangs will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
