Lafayette took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 21-10.

Meanwhile, Oldham County played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Trinity, falling 52-3. The Colonels have struggled against the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Lafayette now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Oldham County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-4.
