Softball Recap: Brooks' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brooks came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Florence Falcons 9-3. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Brooks pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Florence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Brooks and Florence will both be playing Rogers the next time they take the field. Florence will host Rogers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Brooks will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
