Norwalk came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Huron, but Adelyn Van Sickle wouldn't allow it. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Truckers on Tuesday with plenty of help from Van Sickle, who had 23 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Huron wouldn't go down easily and took Norwalk into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 24-26, 23-25, 15-6.

Huron now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Norwalk, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Huron and Norwalk will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers are set to challenge their familiar foe Port Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Norwalk will face off against rival Sandusky at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
