Miller Place took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Saturday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 34-33 win over the Kings Park Kingsmen. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 31-20 victory the Kingsmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Kings Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Miller Place and Kings Park will both be playing Bayport-Blue Point the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Phantoms at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Kingsmen will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
