             Northview Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seymour Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2023.
 While Northview Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 18-25,  25-21.
 When it comes to explaining why Northview Academy lost, don't look at  Sydney Cole. Despite the final result, she  had 24  digs and two  aces.
 Northview Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Seymour, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record  this season.
 Northview Academy is on the road again  on Thursday to play Carter at 6:00  p.m. Carter is coming into the  matchup with three straight  wins at home,  so Northview Academy will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for Seymour, they will host Gatlinburg-Pittman  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Seymour will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
