Basketball Recap: Lake Clifton Takes a Loss

Lake Clifton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Patterson Clippers, falling 64-23. The Lakers lost against the Clippers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 41-31 score last time.

Lake Clifton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Patterson, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Lake Clifton and Patterson's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Lake Clifton and Forest Park (who has only given up 28.42 points per game) will meet at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Patterson will take on Edmondson-Westside at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a team that's only allowed 27.8 points per game.
