Basketball Recap: First Presbyterian Day Takes a Loss

First Presbyterian Day lost against Piedmont Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The First Presbyterian Day Vikings took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piedmont Academy Cougars.

Marissa Holder was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds for Piedmont Academy. Holder is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 23 games she's played. Kylee Keck was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

First Presbyterian Day's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Piedmont Academy, they pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither First Presbyterian Day nor Piedmont Academy have any future games scheduled.
