Cameron hadn't done well against Colfax recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Comets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Cameron easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20.

Addy Ebner paced Cameron's offense, picking up seven kills. Ebner were helped by Eva Sevals and Emerson Krahenbuhl, who contributed seven assists each. Aaliyah Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cameron is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Colfax, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Cameron has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Webster on the 27th. Colfax has also already played their next match (against Shell Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
