Basketball Recap: A.C. Flora's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

A.C. Flora was the 54-47 winner over Dutch Fork when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The A.C. Flora Falcons fell 51-44 to the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes on Tuesday. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dutch Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryson Taylor, who posted 14 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Samajae Govan, who earned 13 points.

A.C. Flora moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Dutch Fork, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

A.C. Flora will take on Fort Mill in a tournament on December 26th. As for Dutch Fork, they will head out to take on Spring Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
