Soccer Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

If Shawnee was feeling good fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Glenpool last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shawnee Wolves fell just short of the Harrah Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wolves of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Camden Sateren and Jace McDaniel scored both of Shawnee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Harrah, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Shawnee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Del City at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Harrah, they have already played their next game, a 3-3 victory against Harding Prep on the 11th.
