Football Recap: Chilton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chilton can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Pirates, who until this matchup were averaging 14.5 points allowed.

Leading Mt. Enterprise to victory were Kaegan Ash and Aadin Alsup. Ash rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, while Alsup rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs. Ash has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 21 times he's played. Joel Otwell was in the mix too, providing Mt. Enterprise with one score.

Chilton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Mt. Enterprise, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Chilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Enterprise, they will welcome Overton at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
