Basketball Recap: Horizon Prep Comes Up Short

Horizon Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 60-38 to the Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Horizon Prep now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon Prep will face off against Ocean View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, they will take on Liberty Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
