The biggest upset of the week belonged to Montville, who took down 32nd ranked Montville, 26-21.
Waterford took down St. Bernard-Norwich RVT 41-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Bacon Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nate Kozlowski threw for 98 and 63 touchdowns and Ryan Duclos had 69 yards receiving. On the ground Steven Kardys chipped in 46 yards. Trey Geisman helped Bacon Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
Bacon Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kozlowski has thrown for 770 yards and 68 touchdowns this season, while Duclos has 29 catches for 464 yards. Aaron Stolzman leads the league in rushing with 217 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Bobcats take on Ledyard. Bacon Academy's offense has scored 85 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Colonels have allowed only 113 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ledyard takes on Brian Enrique's team. At the moment, Jim Buonocore's team is in second, while the Bobcats are in fifth.
The Colonels and the Indians played the most hotly contested game in Eastern Connecticut - Medium this week, with the Colonels eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
