Volleyball Recap: Glenns Ferry Wins Going Away Against Wilder + How To Watch

Glenns Ferry lost to Wilder back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Pilots put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pilots.

Glenns Ferry got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 31-29.

Loss or not, Wilder got some senior leadership from Natalie Escutia and Nancy Ramirez. Escutia had 35 digs, 12 kills, and one block, while Ramirez had 25 digs and seven kills. Ramirez has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 17 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylie Luna, who had 23 digs and one assist.

The victory got Glenns Ferry back to even at 3-3. As for Wilder, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenns Ferry will venture away from home to face off against Hansen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilder, they will head out to square off against Riverstone International at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
