Soccer Recap: Bloomington Comes Up Short

Bloomington managed to keep up with Peoria Christian until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Purple Raiders lost 4-1 to the Chargers. Bloomington's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Bloomington's record is now 2-11. As for Peoria Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomington will challenge Peoria Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Peoria Notre Dame's defense has only allowed 0.1 goals per game this season, so Bloomington's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Peoria Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Limestone at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
