Soccer Recap: Salisbury's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Salisbury can now relate to. They came up short against the East Gaston Warriors on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Salisbury couldn't push the score so high this time.

The loss snapped Salisbury's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-4-1 record. As for East Gaston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6-2.

Salisbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Gaston, they are taking a road trip to face off against Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shelby will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something East Gaston surely won't give up without a fight.
