Flag Football Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

The Apache Junction Prospectors came up short against the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans on Thursday, falling 36-13.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apache Junction will host Horizon Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Prospectors are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
